A Neutral outcome records an exactly zero directional move under the canonical definition. It belongs neither in Rise nor Drop and should not be forced into success or failure.

A marker resting exactly on the centre line is neither left nor right. Assigning it to one side would change the count without movement supporting that choice.
Now put that into markets
Tradour keeps zero outcomes as an explicit category. Binary analyses must state whether they exclude or separately report them.
Price precision, corporate-action adjustment and rounding rules must be fixed before deciding that a move is exactly zero.
Show total observations, Neutral count and denominator used for any directional rate. Preserve the raw difference.
Dropping Neutrals without disclosure changes the estimand. Tiny non-zero moves can also be economically indistinguishable while remaining directionally classified.
